In order to answer the needs of women entrepreneurs in Africa in terms of adequate trade support services, customized export training course, strong national sector focus, innovative product design and access to foreign markets, ITC has decentralized programme implementation at the level of national Trade Support Institutions called ACCESS! Focal Points Institutions (AFPs).
In conjunction with ITC and regional partners, National Coordinators are fully responsible for programme orientation and for taking the lead on all administrative actions and strategic decisions. An enhanced local ownership through customized national implementation plans are contributing to achieving tangible benefits at regional, national and community level to sustain our programme on the long-term.
